- Shipping by region (1,480–2,480 yen, tax included). Insured delivery. Where the specimen subtotal is 300,000 yen or more, the specimen is sent within Japan by specialist fine-art transport with insurance, at 25,000–42,000 yen (tax included) by region, collected at checkout.
Outside Japan we deliver to the 27 countries and regions listed under “Shipping destinations” in our legal notice. Where the specimen subtotal is under 300,000 yen, a flat 19,000 yen (tax included) applies to every destination, collected at checkout. Where the subtotal is 300,000 yen or more, the specimen is sent by specialist fine-art transport and we provide an individual quotation that includes shipping. Import VAT, customs duties and clearance fees are the customer’s responsibility (DDU). - Availability

Specimen & Art
One beetle. Painted, or left as it is.
Art and specimen begin with the same beetle — one whose life had already ended, honoured, then selected. Hand-painted upon the elytra it becomes a work; left untouched, it remains a specimen.
We never kill for art.
Our specimens are kept by the same rule as our works. The origin of each is recorded, and each is honoured, then preserved.
